Privacy Policy

1. What ARAH Studio does

ARAH Studio is a content creation and scheduling tool. It renders videos from your own images and audio and, when you connect a TikTok account, sends content you approve to that account through the official TikTok APIs.

2. Information we access from TikTok

Only after you authorize it via TikTok Login Kit, and only for the permissions you grant:

• Basic profile (user.info.basic, user.info.profile): open ID, display name, username, avatar, bio, verified status, profile link. Used to show which account you are posting to.
• Statistics (user.info.stats): follower, following, likes and video counts. Used for your insights dashboard.
• Video list (video.list): your public videos and their view, like, comment and share counts. Used for insights.
• Posting (video.upload, video.publish): permission to send content you approved to your TikTok inbox or profile, plus the creator information TikTok returns before posting (nickname, available privacy options, interaction settings).

3. Where your data is stored

• Access and refresh tokens are stored only on your own computer, in the operating system's secure credential store (macOS Keychain). They are never sent to our servers.
• Your projects, posts, schedules and statistics are stored in a local database on your computer.
• For photo carousel posts, TikTok requires images to be downloadable from a public URL. ARAH Studio temporarily uploads those images to studio.arah.site/media/ under an unguessable random address and deletes them as soon as TikTok has processed the post, and in any case within 24 hours.

4. Optional third-party services

• AI caption suggestions (Google Gemini), only if you enable it: the text context you choose (such as file names, number of slides and audio title) is sent to Google to generate suggestions. Images are not sent unless you explicitly enable it.
• Notifications (Telegram), only if you enable it: short status messages and captions are sent to your own Telegram chat.

5. What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
• We do not post anything without your explicit confirmation.
• We do not access your TikTok messages, comments or followers' personal data.

6. Retention and deletion

You can disconnect a TikTok account in ARAH Studio at any time; this revokes the tokens and deletes them from your device. You can also revoke access in the TikTok app (Settings → Security → Apps and services permissions). Local data can be deleted by removing the application's data folder. Temporary photo files are deleted automatically as described above.

7. Children

ARAH Studio is not directed to children under the minimum age required to use TikTok in their country.
